Enabling people to achieve their goals is central to what we do at MPA and SWP, whether that is a client’s financial ambitions or a team member who wants to progress their career.
When she joined MPA in 2018, Jess Browning was determined to start her career in financial services, having previously worked in retail. Joining as a Trainee Administrator, Jess quickly progressed in her role before making the decision to enroll on a two-year apprenticeship programme to work towards the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII) Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
Earlier this week, we were all delighted to learn that Jess has now passed the RO6 exam and achieved her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning! She has even combined her studies with becoming a mum for the first time!
Phil McGovern, Managing Director of MPA Financial Management comments: “We are all hugely proud of Jess. Since she joined MPA she has worked very hard to firstly get up to speed on working within financial services, and then progressing to achieve her Diploma. Congratulations Jess!
“Continual professional development is something we value extremely highly. Our ethos is to Inspire, Educate and Inform, so our team never stops learning so we can deliver the best service for our clients. Jess is the embodiment of that ethos, and I am sure she will have a successful career in our industry.”
Jess Browning comments: “Balancing my ‘day job’, studying for my exams and becoming a mum has certainly been a challenge, so I am hugely proud to have achieved my Diploma. Phil and the team have supported me throughout and it is brilliant to work within an environment where professional development is so highly valued. When I needed advice, there were others who had already been through the exams who were willing to help, and that has been hugely valuable. I am looking forward to the next stage in my career.”
We are always looking for talented people to join MPA and SWP. If you would like to discuss beginning or furthering your career in Financial Services, please get in touch.
