In January, we welcomed Independent Financial Adviser (IFA), Flora Macleod to the SWP team.

Flora joins SWP after working in financial services for around seven years, where her focus was mainly on the protection and software side of the sector. Her main role now is to help SWP clients understand their financial planning options and create personalised plans that align with their values to help them achieve their financial goals.

On her appointment Flora said: “I’ve worked with many financial advisers during my career to date and I decided that their role was exactly what I wanted to pursue. So, for the last 12 months I’ve been working towards my Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning which I successfully completed at the start of this year.

“SWP felt like the perfect place to continue to grow, learn and develop my career. After meeting Phil, Joe and Annemarie I knew I had to join. It’s great to be able to support and educate clients on the various financial options available to them and provide tailored financial advice that aligns with everyone’s unique circumstances and personal goals.”

Reporting to Joe McGovern, MPA’s Head of Advice, Flora has taken up a newly created post in SWP’s expanding team. On Flora’s appointment Joe commented: “We’re so pleased Flora wanted to join the business and progress her career with our close-knit, friendly and efficient team of finance professionals. Her expertise is already helping us to continue providing clients with sound advice, expert recommendations and regular financial reviews.”

When not supporting clients to achieve their financial goals, Flora enjoys going to the gym, as well as doing ballet and contemporary dance. She is also currently training for a half marathon.
